The annual Harvey Awards will be held on Saturday, June 15 to celebrate the best of the 2012-2013 season! At the end of every season, Ocala Civic Theatre supporters gather to recognize the outstanding work of our actors, designers, and volunteers who provide quality entertainment for our community. Anyone is welcome to attend. The awards are named for the late Harvey Klein, a local attorney and dedicated long-time supporter of Ocala Civic Theatre and the arts, who also served as emcee of our annual awards ceremony for many years.

This year's event is catered by the award-winning Mojo Grill. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour in the lobby, including hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, a raffle, and a silent auction of memorabilia from the 2012-2013 season. Dinner will be held onstage at 7 p.m. You may choose between an entrée of roast pork tenderloin, grilled chicken marsala, or pasta primavera (vegetarian), plus Caesar salad, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, rolls, and berry cheesecake. Awards and entertainment begin at 8 p.m. Awards are given for excellence in acting, technical aspects, and volunteer service.

They're back – and better than ever! A cappella doo-wop quartet Blend returns with an all-new swinging summer concert on Tuesday, June 25 at 7:30 p.m. This touring group appeared on our stage last year to rave reviews. Known for their fun, interactive concerts, they perform a diverse repertoire of popular songs.

Tickets go on sale May 28 at $16 for adults, $14 for subscribers, and $8 for full-time students (student ID required for college students).
