Volunteers

Become a Volunteer

OCT is a volunteer-based organization with a small staff.

Every season hundreds of amazing volunteers contribute thousands of hours to make the magic happen: acting, building sets, sewing costumes, shining the spotlight, working stage crew, selling tickets, ushering patrons to their seats, fundraising, and so many other ways.

And we’d love for you to join them! We have many different ways for you to fill your free time, as much or as little as you’d like. No experience is necessary.

To find out more about our volunteer opportunities, contact Volunteer Coordinator Craig James at

There is no charge for the performances, although donations to Ocala Civic Theatre and its youth programs are gratefully accepted.
