EVENT DESCRIPTION

OFF BOOK goes storybook to start the season… On Saturday, September 7 at 12:30 p.m., join us at OCT for OFF BOOK, our free, “no reading required” book club with R.J. Jenkins of the Marion County Literacy Council. We’ll spend an hour exploring the origins of the beloved fairytale Cinderella, from its “once upon a time” to its “happily ever after.” Think you know the story? Learn more about the many versions of this classic and how it’s transformed over the centuries, all the way up to its current retelling on the OCT stage. (And get your tickets now to stay and see the matinee at 2 p.m. after OFF BOOK!)
RSVP to the OCT box office at (352) 236-2274 or to https://forms.office.com/r/zZX5XTnYfz
Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is live on stage September 5-22 at OCT.
